Dr. Krishnamoorthy (Subbu) Subramanian, President STIMS Institute, USA, graduated from MIT in 1977. He is a Fellow of the ASME and SME. He is the recipient of the 2020 Merchant Medal for Manufacturing. He has developed an approach to combine science, engineering and management skills of every professional with an eye on global competitiveness as described in his book (2000) “The System Approach – A strategy to survive and succeed in the Global Economy” and in his second book (2013) “Thriving in the 21st Century Economy – Transformational Skills for Technical Professionals”. His third book (2023) details the Emotional Intelligence, a key ingredient for the success of every professional today, as we confront the challenges of AI.
Besides his professional work, Dr. Subramanian is engaged in non-profit social work through http://www.AASAI.org He is an advisor for a number of global programs.
