Pre-tax…after-tax? What else is there?
There is much to consider in this one question.
PayPal cofounder and CEO Peter Thiel knew the rules before setting up his initial shares. Today, his multi-billion dollar Roth IRA grows tax-free.
If you are more hands-on than average with your finances, join us to learn the essential rules – incentives and constraints – to optimize the financial decisions you already make each year when deciding among your pre-tax and after-tax accounts.
This is primarily a social/interactive dinner, but to start with a topic, you’ll get an overview of all the good stuff they did not tell you at your company’s annual 401k meeting.
In person dinner: meet like-minded alumni (seating is limited):
5:15 PM Doors open
5:30 PM Live Zoom Presentation/Q&A: “Pre-tax vs. After-tax: Advanced Topics”

We’ll look at the self-directed SEP/IRA vs. the solo 401k, a valuable DIY tool for the self-employed or those with a side gig who seek more tax-optimized investment options. #SelfDirectedIRA/401k
Your decisions around “pre-tax vs. after-tax” hit on all of the following:

#Crypto
We will discuss these in a rapid-fire presentation and discussion with Q&A before resuming dinner and socializing at Flores in SF (Michelin Bib Gourmand 2021-2023).
For those joining remotely, you’ll have to option to socialize/break out virtually.
This event is sponsored by MITCNC’s Finance Track (FinTrack). The presentation is an example of the panels we’re assembling for an upcoming MITCNC networking ‘unconference’:
